Who's on first: The executive leadership team

Emory Radiology has a new and expanded executive committee to guide the department through the next several years. The team comprises leaders who have been in their positions for several years as well as newly appointed leaders and leaders with expanded roles.

Rather than recreate their LinkedIn profiles, which seemed boring, the Rad Report dug a little deeper to get to know the people behind the titles. "What excites you about your leadership role today?" we asked. We also explored lessons in leadership that still guide them today and their reasons for going into academic medicine. We made things even more interesting (and nosy) by asking each leader about their personal slogans and how they recharge their batteries. Perhaps the greatest insights came when we asked, "Where is your heart?"
