Camille Dingle
Communications Project Manager
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just words or concepts to me: as a Black woman, they define and shape my life experience. I have worked in places where diversity was little more than a word, where inclusion required cultural assimilation. Growing up in a military family (the United States Air Force), I lived in three different countries and five different states in the U.S. so I know how hard it can be to feel like you belong. I have a deep appreciation for the impact culture has on an individual and their choices and experiences, which, in turn has helped me to form relationships with seemingly different people based on both our commonalities and our uniqueness.

Willie Arnold
Administrator, Clinic Operations
Diversity brings in new ideas and experiences! Different perspectives lead to better problem solving and out of the box thinking. I appreciate Emory Radiology because the focus of inclusion creates an environment of openness. This level of transparency inspires creativity and drives innovation. I am actively working to change my perspective about others. We all have different upbringing and thoughts about the world. Instead of jumping to conclusions about someone, sometimes we need to give them a little grace to truly understand their perspective. Sometimes I fear be labeled inadequate or less than. Although I am confident about my own value, day-to-day microaggressions are reminders about society's overall view of African Americans. Over time, there is an underlying level of stress that can weigh you down or take you to the next level. We all have to intentionally choose.

Gabriela Lozano
Vascular Sonographer
I am PROUD TO BE ME because I am many ethnicities in one person. I care about diversity, equality, and inclusion because we are continuously evolving and it is nice to feel valued and empowered. I appreciate Emory Radiology when it comes to diversity, equality, and inclusion because they go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and embraced. Sometimes I fear being labeled weird because I am very different and extroverted and speak my mind.
